On Friday, August 2nd, 2024, Coach Mala and Madam Jennifer embarked on a journey with seven of our brightest chess stars. After an exciting trip, they arrived at Nakuru High School, ready to showcase their skills.

The competition kicked off on Saturday with a grand opening ceremony. Our students dove into the chess world, playing three challenging games each day from Saturday to Monday. That’s a whopping nine games in total!

We’re incredibly proud of each participant! They not only demonstrated their chess prowess but also gained valuable experience and made new friends.
The competition wrapped up on Monday evening, and by Tuesday, our tired but happy chess champions were safely back home, heads full of memories and hearts full of pride.
