Grade 8 orange and 8 green learners had a cleaning exercise at Kathome Market on 11/7/2024. The exercise started at 10:30 am and ended at 1:30 pm.
Learners interviewed the locals on the different issues regarding cleanliness of the environment. They cleaned the dumpsite by slashing and collecting of litter around it.
They also picked litter around the whole shopping center and sweeping where necessary.
They finalized by displaying their portfolios on ways of preserving the environment, then they pinned them on strategic places in the market center
