Our school’s mission is to mold learners to be responsible citizens in future. In line with that, we teach them value of social responsibility. We therefore encourage learners to participate in charitable activities such as the annual Mater Heart Run.
In addition to raising funds in support of the foundation our pupils participated in the Mater Heart Run marathon which took place on 11th June 2022 from Machakos School to the People’s Park and back, at distance of approximately 20 kilometers. A total of 26 upper school learners physically participated in the event and managed to raise a total of 213, 000 for the charity which its core mandate is to support children from poor backgrounds with heart conditions.
Our endeavor is to raise learners who are caring and to lend a hand to the needy. As the good book puts it…” Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
