Early Bird Schools proudly participated in the Kasarani Cluster Annual Swimming Competition, held at All Saints Cathedral Swimming Pool in Nairobi, Kenya. This top school swimming competition in Kenya brought together elite swimmers from 26 schools, fostering a spirit of competition, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The event is a major highlight in Kenyan school sports, attracting talented young swimmers from across the region.
Our Team & Performance
- Participants: A total of 44 learners (25 from Junior School, 19 from Primary) participated, supported by 4 teachers, 2 coaches, and 2 transport staff.
- Competition Events: Learners competed in freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, breaststroke, and relay races across different age categories (under-10 to under-18).
- Medal Achievements:
- Gold: 8
- Silver: 18
- Bronze: 2
- Overall, boys ranked 4th, girls ranked 10th, and the team secured 8th place.
- Notable Swimmers: Dalmus Mogeni and Dalmus Nyakeri excelled in freestyle, while Ratemo Thadius, Calvin Wafula, and Melchizedeck Muuo earned top positions in backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Their outstanding performances continue to position Early Bird Schools as a top-performing school in Nairobi’s competitive sports scene.
