Grade 7 learners had a three-day academic trip to William Holden Nanyuki ,55 learners took part in the trip.
The events that took place were as follows:
DAY 1: THURSDAY 11/07/2024
Arrived at William Holden at 6:30p.m and learners were welcomed by Mr. Nganga who gave them instructions on how to conduct themselves. Learners freshened up, took dinner enjoyed the bonfire and called it a day at 9: 40p.m
DAY 2: FRIDAY 12/07/2024
After breakfast learners enjoyed various activities which included:
Nature trill: Learning of the different types of plants, trees and enjoying the view of the river.
Library: Learnt about the history of William Holden Conservancy.
Mount Kenya Conservancy history: Learners were briefed on this.
Wild animals: Learners went on a game drive where they saw a lot of wild animals which included; male wild beasts, impala, eland (largest antelopes) Warthog, Bumba, Zebra, Giraffes.
Entertainment session: Learners freshened up and had an entertainment session at the library where they watched movies while having snacks and called it a day at 9:00p.m
DAY 3: SATURDAY 13/07/2024
Final day activities included visit to the weather station, project walk. Composed section, biogas, regenerative form, water recycling and solar energy.
Departure from William Holden was at 11:00a.m.

Learners learnt a lot about nature and also had a lot of fun.
