On June 15th, 2024, our school proudly participated in the chess championship held at Regis Academy Runda. Our students competed in various categories, demonstrating their strategic thinking and dedication to the game.

Boys Under 14:
Osteen Reuben: Played 4 out of 6 games, secured 14th position out of 81 participants.
Jeremy Mwanzia: Played 4 out of 6 games, secured 15th position out of 81 participants.
Ryan Mwendwa: Played 4 out of 6 games, secured 17th position out of 81 participants.
Trevor Musembi: Played 2 out of 6 games, secured 69th position out of 81 participants.

Girls Under 14:
Joy Makau: Played 5 out of 6 games, secured 6th position out of 21 participants.
Redemptah Wairimu: Played 3 out of 6 games, secured 11th position out of 21 participants.
Cindy Maina: Played 3 out of 6 games, secured 12th position out of 21 participants.

Boys Under 16:
Sean Makau: Played 3 out of 6 games, secured 11th position out of 23 participants.
Emmanuel Mutambya: Played 3 out of 6 games, secured 12th position out of 23 participants.

Our learners had an enjoyable time at the championship, engaging in fun and friendly interactions with students from other schools. The event provided an excellent platform for them to hone their chess skills and build new friendships.
