On June 1, 2024, Earlybird Schools was honored to participate in friendly matches hosted by Machakos Academy. It was an exciting day filled with competitive spirit and camaraderie as our students showcased their talents in four different games:
- Boys’ Soccer: Our boys’ soccer team delivered an outstanding performance, securing a decisive victory with a score of 14-3. Their teamwork and dedication were evident throughout the match.
- Girls’ Soccer: Despite a spirited effort, our girls’ soccer team faced a challenging opponent and concluded their game with a score of 1-3. Their determination and sportsmanship were commendable.
- Boys’ Volleyball: The boys’ volleyball team demonstrated excellent skill and coordination, winning all three sets with impressive plays. Their hard work and practice paid off beautifully.
- Girls’ Netball: Our girls’ netball team played with great enthusiasm but unfortunately lost all three sets. Their perseverance and positive attitude were inspiring.
The event was not only about the scores but also about the experience and the opportunity to build friendships. We are pleased to report that no injuries were reported, and our students had the chance to mingle and form connections with their peers from Machakos Academy.
